Are we creative?

Spain’s leading design magazine Graffica worked closely with Ricoh to produce 4000 totally unique covers for its latest issue. 

Are we creative?

The cover was composed of a face in three zones with a right hemisphere (where creative processes occur), an eye (symbolizing perception and learning) and a mouth (as a representation of the action, or the communication of that creativity). 

Black and white images of magazines from the 50s and 60s were cut out to form the idea.

Regarding the technical process, Carlos Cano, Chief Marketing Officer of Ricoh Spain, includes that it was also a mathematical challenge to get the variables right. But the results of 4000 unique prints was a satisfying achievement.
